ISLANDS is a band/project hailing from Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Starting out as a Shoegaze/Dream Pop solo-project in 2014 by Izelan Shahier in his bedroom, adding in new members along the way helped to add the human element that's missing from pop music in status quo. The band is on the road to record and release an LP of self written material by Izelan soon to be released. Islands music has been featured in JUICE MY Track Of The Week 2016, TimeOut KL's Top 30 Local Tracks of 2017, DailySeni's Local Tracks of 2017, Top 12 finalists for Vans Musicians Wanted Asia 2018 edition and (UK) Crywank's Farewell World Tour 2019 .
